Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle company and the world’s fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer. Although Aprilia started as a scooter manufacturer, it is best known for its 1000cc motorcycle, the RSV Mille. Aprilia’s other models include the RSV, Tuono, RS, MX, SX and SXV. Aprilia motorcycles are very successful in the racing world, mostly in the smaller displacement categories. Aprilia was not as successful in the MotoGP and the FIM 500 championships. Aprilia motorcycles also have a presence in the off-road racing world, producing respectable results in the Motorcross and Supermoto categories.
