Victory Motorcycle

Who says you can't start up a new brand of motorcycle in this day and age? That's exactly what Polaris Industries, better known for manufacturing snowmobiles, did at the end of the century. The result is several different models of the Victory motorcycle, which are still being made today. The Victory motorcycle is meant to successfully compete with Harley Davidson in the experienced rider marketplace by providing a stylish (and often quite powerful) cruiser that delivers more power for fewer dollars.

Unlike some other companies that are pulling back their production, the Victory Motorcycle Division has been expanding steadily since its inception. Now, in its 10th year, there are touring bikes for every budget and style in the line-up. Though not nearly as popular as some other makes and models, parts and accessories for the Victory Motorcycle are still able to be fond on online auction sites (such as motoyard.com) and specialty shops.

So far, the Victory motorcycle line has done a very good job of retaining value on the used market. Of course, purchasing from dealerships (even used bikes) can be quite an expensive proposition. Person-to-person sales of actual bikes is usually the best way to keep your costs down. Be sure to make certain that your new Victory motorcycle is thoroughly checked out before you buy, since there are enough bells and whistles on these bikes to potentially be problematic.
