Armour Bodies race bodywork

Last year, I decided to give up street racing and dedicate myself to track racing only. After many close calls and friends getting injured on the streets, it was an easy choice – Race Track, here I come!
The first change I made on my street bike was the fairings. Like most street riders, I was riding with the heavy stock fairing.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- Upper Fairing
- Lower Fairing
- Tail Section
- Front Fender
- Dzus Fasteners (additional cost – required 2 kits at $15 each)
INSTALLATION
After removing all the lights and mirrors, I put on my new Armour Bodies bodywork. WOW!!! How did I ever live without a full Race Body Kit!??!
I used to dread and fear removing my stock plastics, even if it only was for an oil change. There were too many parts and the plastics never seem to fit back in perfectly, as if they’ve been forced in, even on a new bike.
The Armour Bodies kit fit in like a glove. I didn’t have to drill more holes. No pushing to try to make it fit. It literally took me less than 30 minutes to install everything, including the tail. Now, when I change my oil, it takes me less than a minute, thanks to the ever so convenient Dzus fasteners.
CRASH
Unfortunately, everyone eventually crashes. There are crashes that will completely ruin your fairings no matter what brand you’re using but some are less sturdy than others and are not as forgiving when for example, you drop your bike removing it from the trailer or in a slow speed crash. I’m not proud to say that I’ve done both but I’m certainly happy that the Armour Bodies kit sustained the impact and I didn’t have to replace them.
These fairings are sturdy and can take their fair share of punishment. Trust me, I’ve tried!
The price is competitive with other brands and I would highly recommend this bodywork if you’re looking for a good looking-high quality-sturdy kit. No wonder the Roadracing World comparison test rated Armour Bodies - "#1 in finish, #1 in flexibility, exceptional fit and no burn through"
Ride Safe!
