Greg Nulman

Hometown:
Los Angeles, CA
Occupation:
Owner - Motoyard.com
Biography:
Greg, has been involved with motorcycles for over 20 years. As a teenager, Greg used to go out every weekend and try to keep up with the fast guys in the canyons, and eventually it paid off. Greg raced at WSMC for many years and is a pro WSMC licensed racer. He has also been known to do some crazy wheelies.

Growing up with motorcycles and around motorcycle racing, Greg made lots of friends in the industry. Motoyard.com was the next natural step. The website was Greg's brainchild. Greg realized that there are so many people who are always looking for used and new parts for their bikes, and there was no website dedicated to this. Soon after launch, Motoyard.com started sponsoring local club racers and race organizations and before long, Greg realized his dream of having a Motoyard.com race team.

Greg has been to many track days and saw one big problem - lots of organization's passion wasn't riding, instead it was making money. Many organizations don't care how many people are on the track at the same time, and they didn’t seem to pay much attention to safety. He also realized that many organizations did not offer help to new riders who wanted to learn. He decided to do it better, and “Motoyard.com Track Days” was born.

Motorcycles and riding is a real passion for Greg. Over the years he has seen too many things go wrong riding on the street, and his goal is to get people off the streets and onto the track - a much safer place to learn and really ride.

Ilya

Hometown:
Los Angeles, CA
Occupation:
Owner - Motoyard.com
Biography:
Ilya has been riding motorcycles for over 10 years. He worked for several internet companies and designed several successful websites. One day riding the canyons, he met Greg, and started talking about creating a web site where people can buy and sell everything motorcycle, and Motoyard.com was created shortly after.

After many years of canyon riding Ilya decided to try out the race track. Currently Ilya is a WSMC novice racer. Ilya soon realized that the track is much more fun and safe compared to riding on the streets. Having several, not so fun accidents on the streets, he tries to do the majority of his riding on the race track.

Ilya too, like Greg saw many things he didn’t like about motorcycle track day organizations, who hosted track days in Southern California area – especially lack of rider oversight and lack of fun. Starting out as an everyday rider, Ilya realized that track days should be safe and fun. Riding is also much more fun when you don’t have to worry about speeding tickets and Sunday drivers. As Motoyard.com became a household name at the local race tracks, by way of rider and track sponsorship, the launch of Motoyard.com Track Days was possible. With Motoyard.com Track Days he is able to build the track day he would like to ride.
