Willow Springs - 2.5 Mile Raceway + Streets Of Willow

Motoyard.com Double Track Days

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park, has two separate tracks that can be used for motorcycle events. The main track (aka Big Track) and Streets of Willow.

In the past, if you wanted to ride both tracks, you would have to make it to two different track days on different days. We are trying something new! On our "double track day" events, you can ride either track at any time during the day. You might want to do a couple of sessions on one track, then a couple on the other, and then come back. Or, ride half day at one track and half day on the other. Both tracks are available all day. The only thing we ask is that you do not speed in the pits going from one track to the other.

When you register for a group (A, B or C), you will be in the same group at both tracks. Email us if you have any questions. Since this is something that hasn't been done before, we will gladly welcome any suggestions.

Motoyard.com Track Days is the only organization in Southern California to offer "Double Track Days".

Willow Springs - 2.5 Mile Road Course

Willow Springs 2.5 mile raceway, also known as the “big track” or “big willow”, is located at Willow Springs International Motorsports Park. This facility was built in 1953 and is recognized as an Official California Point of Historical Interest. This world famous track hosted events such as the first two NASCAR races west of the Mississippi, the first AMA events, the first FIM 500 GP motorcycle race in America as well as many others.

The Willow Springs International Raceway (WSIR) is a fast 2.5 mile nine turn road racing circuit, patterned after some of the best road racing courses of Europe. The track has substantial elevation changes, as well as some of the fastest straightaways on any track in the country. With cornering speeds that range from 70mph to over 170mph and straightaway speeds nearing 200mph, it’s no wonder this road is known as “The Fastest Road in the West”.

For new riders, it’s an easy track to practice your riding skills on, because of the size and space available. With both tight turns and fast sweepers, this track has something for everyone. And if you want to pick up the pace, you won’t be limited by the track.

This track is also home to Willow Springs Motorcycle Club, held every third weekend of every month. Some racers ride this track for years and never get tired of it. It’s a fun and challenging track where you never stop learning.

Willow Springs - Streets Of Willow Springs

Located inside the Willow Springs International Motorsports Park the Streets of Willow Springs is one of the newer additions to the complex. Constructed in 1987, the Streets of Willow Springs, also known as the “Streets” or “Streets of Willow”, is a 1.8 mile road course with multiple configurations. It is known for being a “technical” track with many tight turns and a fun “bowl”. This track is popular with canyon riders who are not seeking the speeds of the “big track”, and enjoy a challenging track. If you want to drag your knee this track offers some of the tightest turns at Willow Springs Motorsports Park.

This track was home to some Willow Springs Motorcycle Club’s races in 2008, and may one day again be used by the WSMC organization as a competition track.
